Fear of Entrepreneurship

If you find that you have a tinge of fear or hesitation at the thought of Entrepreneurship, you are normal. It may be the fear of being different or unconventional. It may be the fear of failure on a public stage, in front of your family, friends or coworkers. See that fear that you have. Observe it. understand it.

Being somebody who embraces entrepreneurship means that you are at least a little bit crazy. On some level, this is a fact. Or, at least this how you are perceived by those who are average or normal. Those who are ‘normal’ do not believe in your idea. Don’t expect them to. Don’t look to them for support. The more you share with them, the more your fear will grow. If you fail, you will have to here them say, “I told you so.”

Again, see the fear, acknowledge it, understand it. Then move past it. Us it to fuel you. Use it to test your idea. Use it to view your idea from different angles. Then improve your idea and continue. Feal is natural, fear is normal. Fear lets you know you are alive. Fear lets you stay vigilant while you continue on your journey. See your fear, know that you are apart from it. Know that your fear is not you, know that most time fear is not rational. Use it, control it. Press on. Conquer it and uncover your personal entrepreneurial path.
